Keyboard shortcuts
Every shortcut Smolpad answers to, on the Mac and on an iPad with a hardware keyboard. Inside the app, ⌘/ shows the same list.
Open Smolpad
On the Mac, Smolpad lives in the menu bar and opens with a shortcut of your own choosing: record it in Settings › General › Shortcut, on the row Set keyboard shortcut to open Smolpad. It opens the panel from anywhere, even while another app is active. There is no shortcut until you set one, so the panel never opens by accident.
With Daily note turned on in Settings › General, the same group gains Set keyboard shortcut to open today's note: press it anywhere and today's note comes to the front, created if need be, with the cursor waiting under its heading.
With Daily note on, the group also has Set keyboard shortcut to add to today's note, which is ⌃⌥⌘T until you change or clear it. Press it in any app and the text you have selected goes to the end of today's note, or the clipboard when nothing is selected. Taking the selection needs Accessibility access, which Settings offers to ask for; without it the shortcut adds the clipboard. A notification confirms what was added.
Set keyboard shortcut to detach Smolpad from the menu bar takes Smolpad out of the menu bar into its own window and brings that window to the front. There is no shortcut until you record one.
The Services menu sends text to today's note as well: select the text in any app, right-click or open the app's Services menu, and choose Add to Today's Note in Smolpad. macOS lists a new app's services switched off, so the first time, turn it on in System Settings › Keyboard › Keyboard Shortcuts › Services, where you can also give it a shortcut of its own.

On iPad
With a hardware keyboard attached, the Notes, Edit and View shortcuts above work the same way, except where a row says Mac. Right-click a note in the list on the Mac, or press and hold it on iPad, for the actions that have no shortcut: rename, pin, move, duplicate, and Show in Finder or Files.
The Shortcuts app, Siri, and Spotlight
Not keyboard shortcuts, but they share the name. Smolpad gives the Shortcuts app five actions: Open Today's Note, Open Note, Search Notes, New Note and Append to Note. They are there without any setup. Siri answers to phrases like "Open today's note in Smolpad" and "Search Smolpad", and your notes turn up in Spotlight. Opening and searching are free; New Note and Append to Note need Smolpad Pro.
